Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu in PH – Manila Bulletin

Miss Universe 2021 winner Harnaaz Sandhu arrived in the Philippines on Sunday, April 24, where she sat at the Platinum Skies Hangar Domestic Airport Compound. The host of the welcome was the Mayor of the Town of Narvacan, the Hon. Chavit Singson and Architect Richelle Singson-Michael, LCS Group Vice President, First Candidate Ako Ilokano Ako Partylist and Chair of the 65 Host Committeeand Miss Universe which took place here in the Philippines.

Mayor Singson and architect Richelle Singson-Michael have tirelessly continued to represent the country in the organization to make Miss Universe one of the most anticipated and inspired events in the country.

Architect Richelle Singson-Michael shared the delightful times she spent with the reigning Miss Universe: “We are more than happy to welcome Harnaaz. We had the opportunity to learn from each other as we touched on topics she wants to address throughout her reign. Like a true beauty queen, she is confident yet humble, with the influence to bring about positive change on a global scale.

Mayor Singson also expressed his exuberance during Harnaaz’s visit, “To see her (Sandhu) visiting our country and sharing her goals with us Filipinos is inspiring. It is also an opportunity for us to find out more about her projects and pleas as Miss Universe and to give her all the help she needs to promote her causes.

“The Philippines has always been one of my dream destinations because of its breathtaking beauty, but more importantly, I think it’s a country full of opportunities for me to contribute as Miss Universe.” Harnaaz shares when asked how she felt upon arriving in the country. “I am delighted to work with people who share my passion for implementing advocacy. »

Menstrual fairness is one of Harnaaz’s pleas, where she mentioned, “It’s a topic close to my heart because I grew up watching my mom deal with this issue. So now that I am able to solve this problem on a global scale, I will devote my time and energy to helping young girls and women overcome this challenge. I firmly believe that when women support other women, amazing things happen,” she continued.

Her arrival has sparked excitement among the pageant’s Filipino fans, who can’t wait to see her at the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Coronation Night. Her subscribers are also interested in the destinations of the country she would visit. The Philippines has hosted two Miss Universe coronation parties, and having the reigning titleholder sparks joy among Filipinos.
